We are a Policy and Advocacy alliance working to legalize natural psychedelic medicine in order to transform mental healthcare in the United States. Founded by Matt Weintrub, the plan is to transform the organization into a DAO.
Colorado Natural Medicine Health Act (passed)
Texas HB 1802 (passed)
Connecticut HB 5396 (passed)
California SB 519 (paused indefinitely)
Matt Weintrub wants to expand the impact of the Legalize Network by creating a 501(c)(4) DAO to support the newly formed Veteran's Mental Health Leadership Council, a group of 17 veterans led non-profits advocating for psychedelic policy reform, in Washington, DC. Adam Marr, Co-Founder of Ohai and the Warrior Angels Foundation serves as a policy aide to the council.
“The unfortunate reality of the mental health crisis highlights the limitations of effective pharmacologic treatments and therapies in our toolbox. Psychedelic-assisted therapies offer relief and healing for veterans suffering,” retired Marine Corps Lieutenant General Martin R. Steele, Chief Executive Officer of Reason for Hope, and head of the recently formed Veteran Mental Health Leadership Coalition stated to the House Veterans Affairs Committee.
